K/O Fairground Planners created a Fairgrounds master plan study for the City of Winston-Salem.
The primary objective of the study was to provide recommendations that enhance the flow, layout, marketability, and financial performance of the Fairgrounds now and into the future.
The study included an evaluation of the existing facilities, fairground flow, midway, management structure, finance analysis, market analysis, economic impact, capital needs, and overall physical planning recommendations for the Fairgrounds. The final $28 million plan was divided into three distinct phases to be carried out over the next 20–plus years.
