The Manson hired K/O to renovate the interior and exterior (thus defining their image) of a building that they were moving into in the heart of the Ingersoll shopping district in Des Moines.  K/O completed designs and followed through with construction management services.

The Manson is known as a retail outlet for high end furnishings and interior design services.  To fit the image of the retailer the store is laid out in a way to best present their products.  It is an open plan format that allows visitors to wander through rooms set up in a mixture of vignettes or styles.  The project was designed to allow the building- both interior and exterior- to take on the unique flavor of the brand.  One other location of The Mansion exists in Iowa City.
