Conceptually the design for the new Karl Chevrolet dealership arose from the desire to create a building as a billboard facing the busy North/South Interstate 35 just off of exit 90 outside of Ankeny, Iowa.  What resulted is a stunning structure that is a fantastic dynamic image building, entry, and product display area.

Site amenities include sustainable elements such as utilizing retention areas as active water features throughout the landscape, creating a unique user experience.  The existing facility was enveloped during construction and remained fully operational.  The Karl Chevrolet Dealership doubled in size to 105,000 square feet.  The expansion included a 15,000 square foot truck service center.  The showroom tripled in size to include more sales offices and a 1,500 square foot indoor delivery area for customers buying a new car.
